Hyannis is best known for its large beaches and deep-water harbor. Cape Winds is only two miles from the beaches and ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket and three miles from the Kennedy Compound. The resort features an indoor pool, sauna, whirlpool/hot tub, shuffleboard, Ping-Pong, and a volleyball court. Set aside time for sight-seeing. The cape has many interesting attractions, including whale-watching cruises between April and October--a must-see. A car is recommended to enjoy the area.
