Heviz is a spa town located beside the largest thermal lake in Europe, where the surface temperature averages 32C in summer when Indian water lilies bloom, and a steaming 25C in winter. Wooden catwalks built over the lake, allow easy access for swimming and in winter there are also thermal baths adjacent to the lake. Holiday Club Heviz is within walking distance of the thermal lake spa centre where many forms of health treatments are used. Lake Balaton is only 6kms away and offers many water sport activities. The area around Balaton is also worth discovering.
