The narrowboats at Alvecote Marina are located on the Coventry Canal 4 miles from the town of Tamworth. From the marina you can cruise to Nottingham, Leicester, Coventry, Birmingham or Stoke on Trent within a week.Tamworth has attractions for all ages including Tamworth Castle and the Snowdome, Europe's only year-round ski slope with real snow.
