The pick-up point for your canal boat holiday is at Stoke Wharf, Stoke Prior in the English Midlands. Narrowboats travel at no more than 4MPH, allowing you to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the English countryside. There is a choice of two different routes, each taking a week to navigate. One begins with a flight of heavy locks which may be physically demanding. Narrowboat holidays are activity holidays involving the opening and closing of heavy locks and bridges, thus unsuitable for parties of less than three able-bodied adults, or 2 adults with children over 14 years.
