North Harbor III is a small 18-unit resort located in an old fisherman's cove one block from Lake Pontchartrain. The back decks of most units overlook a pond where guests can try their luck at fishing. There is a small fishing and lounging deck on site. The resort is about a half-hour's drive from New Orleans. Plan to spend at least one day touring the French Quarter and Garden District. The Mississippi Gulf Coast offers casinos and beaches just 30 minutes from the resort.
