This beautiful resort is located in North Karelia (eastern Finland) 450kms northeast of Helsinki. Lomakyla Onnenvirta is built in typical Karelian style and is set amidst large forests and farmhouses on a hill overlooking Onnenvirta River. The river runs into Lake Korpijarvi which is divided by the Russian border. On site facilities include a rental sauna in the main building, snowmobiling and boating. The restaurant seats 150 guests, with a terrace for summer use. A car is essential to enjoy the area fully, however local excursions can be arranged through the resort.
