The attractions located nearby is a grave of King Sejong and Shilluks a Buddhist temple in Yeoju. The Yeoju and Ichon are well known for the ceramic industry. It is often possible to stop at one of the pottery kilns situated along the Kwangju- Ichon highway, and see artisans working at the potter's wheel, applying the underglaze designs, painting or carving and in laying the pots in preparation for firing. The soil around Ichon has two important elements necessary for the production of quality pottery.
