The Danyang area is famous for "Danyang Palkyung", a beautiful sceneries which includes Mt Soback and Mt Worak. Nearby is the Pugok-sa temple, noted for having some of the oldest wooden architecture in Korea. Located 3hrs southeast of Seoul, Mt Worak National Park with the 3599feet Mt Worak, is close to the well known Suanbo hotsprings and the Chungju Lake.
