Siofok lies on the southeastern shore of Lake Balaton about 120km from Budapest. Known as the 'Hungarian Riviera' this area is a popular tourist destination year- round offering all kinds of water sports in summer, a permanent fairground, museums, troika rides in the woods, an open air theatre and skating on the lake in winter. Club Serenia is located in a peaceful residential area, about 2km from the town centre and a 500m walk from the lake, where grassy banks lead down to steps into the water.
