Mykonos is often said to be the loveliest of the Aegean islands. The island is small and rocky with a fairly arid landscape but has many beautiful golden sand beaches. In the main town, a maze of winding, whitewashed streets leads to a picturesque harbour surrounded by bustling cafes. After dark there is a fine choice of lively nightspots. The very attractive Club Mykonos is located directly on the beach at Ornos, just three kilometres from Mykonos town.
