R)sidence du Chay is right next door to the beautiful Atlantic coast town of Royan, at the mouth of the Gironde estuary. The famous town of Cognac is 1.5 hrs away by car, and the theme park Futuroscope in Poitiers is 2 hours away by car. Bordeaux is only a 1 hour drive away. The reception is closed on Thursdays. There is a seawater outdoor pool nearby, though it is not heated and is only open from June to September. Royan has no activity from September to June. All of the apartments have views of the beach and ocean. The resort facilities nearby include thalasso therapy and lawn tennis.
