Kennedy Space Center is an easy drive from this resort and I have gone there many times. I have also watched the Space Shuttle Launch from here, right form the balcony. Everyone on the staff here has been very friendly and helpful. Port Canaveral is five minutes away and there are many great place to eat along the port. The famous Ron Jon Surf Shop very near and the Merrit Island Mall is a 15 min. drive. From the Orlando International Airport it's a very easy drive.
