There are many dive shops in the immediate area that offer reef trips. Many shops have snokel and dive gear rentals and instructons. Local supermarkets are Publix and Winn Dixie. But don't worry, there are many fine restaurants in the area if you don't want to cook.

Hawks Nest Resort is the hidden gem in Florida keys.The 28 unit resort is situated at the south most end of marathon directly on the Atlantic ocean, yards from the worlds famous 7 mile bridge. Watch the fabulous sunsets from poolside as the sun passes over the ocean and sets in the gulf of Mexico. Amenities include wireless internet,heated fresh water swimming pool,hot tubs/spa, tiki huts, bar grills, power boat and rentals. Private fishing docks, bait freezers, ice machine, fishing gear lockers. Tennis courts and bicycles also. Week 23/unit 206 is 1/1 unit completely furnished and sleeps 4 comfortably it falls in early June when school is out prime time for Mahi Mahi, tarpon, sail fish, wahoo, grouper, and tuna. Week 34/unit 406 fully furnished 1/1 sleeps 4 comfortably more or less a bonus week in that as well as the above mention fishing species, lobster season just started so that divers can load up and bully-netters can fill their coolers.
