Americas Travel and Vacation Club is a multi-destination, non-profit timesharing club, which owns units in seven resorts.
The homeowners association (the Club) holds title to these units on behalf of all the members through the non-profit, mutual benefit corporation. The members own the corporation (the Club) through non-issued stock and therefore own the real estate in perpetuity.
The members have equal rights to stay at any one of the seven resorts. The members may also exchange their week in the Club with over 4,000 resorts worldwide through several different exchange companies that the Club is either directly or indirectly associated with.
The timeshare club is based on floating units within an available season on a first come, first serve basis. The "A" season is the super season, which allows the member to travel any time during the year. The "B" season is high season, which allows the member to travel any time during the year with the exception of Christmas, New Years, Spring Break and Thanksgiving weeks. The "C" season is considered low season.
A member can reserve the time no further than 12 months ahead of requested vacation time and up to 45 days prior to vacation time, at which time they may still make a reservation but the inventory is opened up as bonus time to all members at $50.00 a night. Our web site allows the member to view the properties, make a reservation, and other information. Our web site address is www.atvclub.com.
